Ingredients:-
Salmon fillet (about 400g)
4 tablespoons mirin
2 tablespoons white miso paste
2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
1 teaspoon orange zest (optional)
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 small clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh, grated ginger
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Methods:-
1. Clean salmon & pat dry with kitchen towel. Place salmon in a zip top bag.
2. Mix the mirin, miso paste, orange juice, zest, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and black pepper in a small bowl and whisk until incorporated.
3. Pour over the salmon, shake to coat both sides and marinate in the refrigerator for up to 3 hours or (room temp for an hour)
4. Preheat oven at 180degC (350egF). Place the salmon on a rimmed baking sheet and pour over the marinate sauce to cover.
5. Bake for 18 minutes or until salmon is just cooked, serve with noodle or steamed white rice.
