Easy and super delicious chocolate chips cookies. Perfect with a glass of milk.
Ingredients:-
200g white sugar
200g brown sugar
240g salted butter, melted *note1
2 eggs
Half tsp vanilla extract
340g flour *note2
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
300g chocolate chips
Method:-
1. Mix sugar, melted butter, eggs and vanilla extract together with a whisk.
2. Mix flour, baking soda & baking powder and mix into the sugar mixture.
3. Add chocolate chips.
4. Use ice cream scoop to form doughs on baking tray and bake in 180°C fan assisted oven for 12 minutes.
The cookie dough expands a lot during baking, so only put 6 - 8 with good spacing on a tray.
Note1: Next time I'll try with 10g less butter. The dough is super buttery and the cookies taste super good but maybe 10g less will work just fine.
Note2: I would also try to increase the flour by 10 - 20g next time. The dough can easily take in more flour with the original amount of butter.
The dough can easily be frozen. Bake in 180°C fan assisted oven from frozen, for 15 minutes.
Shorter baking time yields softer dough.
