Hoisin honey chicken, another less than 30 minutes from preparation to finish dish, perfect for a week day dinner. Add a little green and make it an wholesome meal. For the dish, you'll need:-
250g chicken breast (mix with a little corn starch to tenderize it)
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
~1tbsp soy sauce
1/4 tsp sesame oil
1/4 tsp chili oil
crushed red pepper to taste
salt to taste
½ tbsp sesame seed (for garnish)
spring onion, cut on bias (for garnish)
1 cup broccoli

1. Steam or boil the broccoli to nearly done. Rinse it and set aside.
2. Mix all sauces together and set aside.
3. Heat 1tbsp vegetable oil in skillet, when hot, add in crushed garlic. Quick stir until fragrant (about 30 second), add in chicken breast.
4. Stir fry the chicken until half cook, add in sauce. Turn the heat down, let the sauce simmer and coat the chicken pieces.
5. If the sauce gets too sticky, add 1 - 2 tbsp water. When the chicken is about done, add in the broccoli.
6. Cook for another minute, then add crushed red pepper.
7. Dish out, sprinkle with sesame seed & spring onion if desired and serve with steam rice.
